Gosh I haven't been here in awhile. Things are so busy this time of year. Had a great 4th, lots of great friends here from out of town. I have been trying to stay around the house to get some things done--my basement needs extreme attention!

I love this little guy--

I don't remember where I got him, but I really like him. He sits perfectly in my herbs and guards them. (He also likes the way they smell ) Sometimes I can almost hear him saying
.."yummy thyme, yummy thyme..........."

Changes

Today is my last day at work. I have been at my current job (Real Estate) for 8 1/2 years. Since the housing market is so bad, I've decided to move on in another direction--can you tell what it is???

Fun

Had a great weekend! Family in town and husband finally took some down time.
Went exploring, stopped at a flea market and a farm. It's great to live in the mountains!

Memorial Day Weekend

I had a girlfriend call me this morning and tell me I must watch Good Morning America they were talking about how to make money with the things you make. It was a good segment--I just need to get in gear and do more with my website etc. Family coming in this weekend. Hopefully, I can get some time to be creative!

Some things I have been working on! These are made for my cousin, who volunteers for an organization called Pet Lovers Rescue. I volunteered to make these for a raffle--I hope they make lots of money!!!

It's me!

Well to begin with a little bit about myself. I have always been kind of a crafty person. I always had some sort of project going even in my teen years. Didn't think I was much of a seamstress, but maybe that was because I never (until recently) had a sewing machine that worked worth a darn! Now I am a sewer, quilter, purse maker and anything else I can think of to try. I am also a soapmaker. I have been making soap for about 10 years and it truly is one of my passions! I am also mom to a busy 15 year old that keeps me constantly running.
I hope to post some of my projects for you to enjoy, as I have learned so much from the world of blogging. I also hope to throw in a giveaway here and there! See you soon!
